In fact, the Gujarat unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, which has been continuously protesting against Pathan, has withdrawn its protest against the film. VHP Gujarat secretary Ashok Rawal said that the censor board has revised ‘obscene songs’ and ‘obscene words’ from the film. Because of which now this film will not be opposed. Let us tell you that after wearing an orange color bikini in the film’s song Besharam Rang, the controversy started on this. Many organizations including VHP had registered their protest against this song. Along with this, there was also a demand for a ban on this film. VHP has welcomed the decision of the board after the censor board used scissors on several scenes of the film. Talking about this, Rawal claimed that 40-45 scenes of the film have been amended following VHP’s protest. He said that this has resolved the issue due to which there is no longer any need to protest against the film.
The VHP leader said that Bajrang Dal and VHP had lodged a protest against the film, after which the Censor Board’s scissors were used on the film. This is good news. Talking about ‘Pathan’, Shah Rukh Khan is going to return to the big screen after almost five years with this film. The film also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film is releasing a day before Republic Day. After this film, Shah Rukh will also be seen in Atlee’s film ‘Jawaan’ and Rajkumar Hirani’s directorial ‘Danki’.
